Sunny held annual post-performance party on February 11, 2011. The post-performance party is a way for Sunny to acknowledge the volunteers, especially the coaches, after CAFA New Year Gala performance.
Over 70 Sunny members, family and friends attended the party. As part of the new tradition, we had a potluck dinner and voted for three best dishes. The winners were dishes by Jingwen Zhou, Qing Yu, Yiwei Xiong. After the dinner, we first reviewed last year’s achievements and then had lots of fun playing various games.

Sunny held annual Thanksgiving party at the Regency Club House. Right after the potluck dinner, winners for the dish competition were announced based on votes for three different categories: Riki (presentation --- best look) , Liu Fang (taste ---- most delicious) and Sharon Weng (creativity). After dinner, games brought lots of fun and laughters.

CSSA from Duke University hosted a mid-autumn festival & talent show on Sat, Sep. 10th. Zhang Wei, Li Lan and Liu Qiaoqiao performed Blooming Jasmine Flowers (Molihuakai) on behalf of Sunny.
Hosted by Mulan Performing Art Club. Audience enjoyed the 15 most popular songs from 1996 – 2010 (1 song per year). Songs were performed in various formats, including dolo, duet, guitar accompaniment, traditional dancing, hip-hop dancing, Kong Fu and a fashion performance. Yu Qing performed dance "Dong Feng Po" on behalf of Sunny.

Sunny held annual summer camping at Springmaid Mountain from July 1st to July 4th. We lived in a bunkhouse, a dormitory-styled house, which brought us back to campus life. Hiking, rafting, BBQ and other activities helped the members to relax and get to know each other better.

Sunny's annual Thanksgiving party will be on Saturday (11-20-2010). We will have 55 adults and 12 kids attending the party this year, including our welcomed guests. As in the previous Thanksgiving celebrations, we will also play some interesting games together.
Sunny dance is not only the stage for beautiful dance, but also for showing the talent of cooking. During the party time, we're going to hold a dish competition. Everyone will pick one of her or his favorite dish, and the family who get the most votes will be regarded as the Marvelous Cook. A surprising prize is also waiting for you. We hope each person can bring 1+ dishes for one person, or 2+ of your favorite dishes for family (family-size dishes preferred). We will provide fruits, drinks, snacks, and a couple of dishes from restaurant.
